Vehicle Stolen - Uttoxeter Area

In the early hours of this morning, 18th January 2021 a blue Volvo XC60 Reg KP17 *** was stolen from the Meadows in Kingstone, Nr Uttoxeter. The offence happened between 0200am and 0400am, with two offenders. This was a keyless theft and the offenders used a device to overide the signal of the vehicle. Initial CCTV enquiries this morning have given the Police a good lead which is being followed up today.  A similar theft occurred between Uttoxeter and six lanes end, earlier this week, where a Range Rover was stolen. Did you see anything in the early hours this morning in the Kingstone area? Do you have CCTV in the village? 

Although offenders are always coming up with new technology to commit offences, we have a higher success rate in resolving these crimes than the public probably think. It is always preventative to purchase a Faraday Pouch, approx £5 online,  where you place your car keys, when you're at home, to block any signal to your vehicle, and deter any offenders.
